Students of the St. Clair Catholic District School Board from Kindergarten to Grade 12, will receive academic report cards in February.  However, due to the current administrative job action (work-to-rule) by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA), only marks will be provided this term.  The comment section of the report card will not be completed.  Parents/guardians of Kindergarten students will receive a brief communication of learning.  Parents may wish to contact their child(ren)’s teachers for further information regarding achievement and wellbeing.

The administrative job action (work-to-rule) is part of a legal strike action being undertaken by OECTA, as the association works through provincial contract negotiations with the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association and the Ontario government and is subject to change.  Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians directly and through this website. 

The Board remains hopeful for a negotiated settlement at the provincial bargaining table which will be fair to all parties.
