 SUMMER SEMESTER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

July 2022 Course Offerings and Registration Information

  

If you haven't already spoken to your Guidance Counsellor, you are strongly encouraged to discuss whether or not summer school is a good option for you BEFORE you register.

Enrollment is based on course availability and space.  Your Guidance Counsellor will connect with you should there be any concerns with your course request.

 

LIMIT: ONE COURSE PER SUMMER

 


 Registered students can expect to

                • receive a series of automatically-generated emails updating you on the status of your registration request

(the sender will be "PRISM: Ontario Elearning Consortium")

                • receive information for a summer semester orientation session which will take place June 22, 2022.

(includes instructions on how to navigate the D2L online learning platform)

                • hear from their summer teacher during the last week of June of the first week of July

(the teacher may be from a different school board)

 

Haven't received an email from PRISM: Ontario Elearning Consortium BY THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 2022?

                • email your Guidance Counsellor

 

For any help getting started on your course, contact

                • your Guidance Counsellor - if before June 23
                • your summer teacher - once the course has started
                • our Board eLearning contact - if after June 23, but before June 29

To access your course

                1.  Go to our eLearning site:  https://sccdsb.elearningontario.ca/
                2.  Log into the above eLearning site using the following login credentials: 
                  your FULL SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS - including the @sccdsb.net part AND 
                  your school network password - the password you would use to log onto a school PC; it is not necessarily the same as your Google password
                3.  Once logged in, look for a link to your course.  If you do not see your course, it may not have started yet.  Course start and end dates depend upon the school board offering the course.  If you do not see your course by July 5, please contact payton.jacklin@sccdsb.net.

                • your summer teacher - if it is course-related (e.g., help with assignments)
                • our Board eLearning contact - if it is a technical problem (e.g., unable to log in, forgot password) or to drop a course
