Shout out to the junior girls basketball team who competed in the Pete Howard invitational this weekend in London. The girls went 2-1 making it to the final where they would face off against a talented Catholic Central squad. The big dogs of the tournament were Zahara R and Lucy G for their contributions offensively and defensively. The girls wrap up their regular season play this Wednesday at Northern. Great work lancers !!
The junior boys volleyball team competed in their final tournament of the season on Friday. Even with a short bench, the team went undefeated in pool play and faced a very strong CCHS team in the finals. After losing a close first set, the boys battled hard to win set 2, forcing a winner-take-all third set. The boys left it all on the floor and battled hard to win and take home their second straight tournament championship. The boys will take on CKSS in the LKSSAA semi finals next Tuesday. Our Jr. Girls Soccer team wrapped up their debut season last week! Even though we didn’t get the win, we couldn’t be prouder of how far this group has come in so many ways. You all showed heart, hustle, and major growth all season long and this is just the beginning for Jr. Girls Soccer at UCC! Huge shoutout to our goalie, Aly H who commanded the field with confidence and to our captains, Ava V and Anna D, for your leadership, energy, and dedication. Way to finish strong Lancers!!
