After a long delayed start, dual credit classes start this Thursday! Please make sure you check the dual credit classroom or see Ms. Fisher in guidance if you have any questions or if you need a transportation waiver. You CANNOT drive yourself to either St. Clair Windsor or Chatham without a signed waiver returned to Ms. Fisher.

The junior boys volleyball team headed to CKSS last night for their last league night of the season. The boys played some of their best volleyball, including a HUGE sweep against CKSS and taking a set off the previously undefeated St. Pat's. The boys will host LKSSAA semi finals on Tuesday, November 4th. Stay tuned for more details. Congratulations boys and GO LANCERS!

The Junior boys soccer team defeated LCCVI last night in their playoff semi-final, 6-1. Lucas M, Miles C and Travis S had the boys up 3-1 at half. Emerson A would nod home to put the lancers up 4-1, and Lucas M would add a second, and Tristan C buried to finish off the Red Lancers. The boys take on St Pats this Thursday at home for the LKSSAA championship. Goooooo Lancers!

Don’t be a scaredy Cat, join our amazing event: Lancers Scare Hunger. Halloween Night, you go trick or treating for canned goods to help those in need from 4:00 to 8pm. Sign up in the caf at the beginning of your lunch. Don’t forget, volunteer hours will be given for this event.

UCC has its own model rocketry club--the Lancer Launchers! If you haven't gotten on board yet, there is still time to take off! Come to Room 914 this Wednesday OR Thursday after school to get your own model rocket and prepare it to launch on Saturday. See Mr. Halinaty if you have any questions.

As one of the oldest known sports known to mankind, wrestling has been illustrated in cave drawings 15 000 years ago. It became one of the first Olympic sports in 700 BC. Today it is the foundational sport for UFC or MMA fighters. Want to learn more about one of the oldest and toughest sports known to mankind? Tryouts are next week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Big Shoutout to our Jr. Girls Soccer Team. They travelled to St. Pats last night for a 5pm start up. Ari D had her first debut in net and she did not disappoint. The girls practice tonight then travel to Sarnia again on Thursday for another BIG match up against St. Pats. Lets go!!
