Under the direction of James Duff, Executive Manager - Human Resource Services, the Human Resource Services team offers various programs and services to support employees, management and senior administration, while insuring compliance with various Acts and Regulations pertaining to employment and labour relations. Areas of responsibility for this department includes: attendance support, disability claims management, WSIB and long term disability claims management, joint health and safety committee, safety training, recruitment, staffing, employment related file maintenance, job evaluation, performance management, teacher additional qualification courses, new teacher induction, collective agreement interpretation and administration, labour relations and collective bargaining.
