Hey Math Department...

Did you know that Canadian Food for Children: Ships about 16 metric tons of powdered protein annually (1.2 million eggs). Are you going to help us ADD to that????

Attention Lancers! Looking for a way to make a real impact? Look no further as everyday in Canada, thousands of blood donations are needed to support patients in hospitals! From surgeries to cancer treatments and even life threatening emergencies, this is YOUR chance to make a difference. Right now, there is an ongoing need for donors to help keep up with the demand of saving lives! By starting to donate at a young age, you’re more likely to continue donating throughout the course of your life, which means you could help save dozens of lives across a lifetime. Sign-ups continue this Wednesday and Thursday during both lunches. Take this opportunity to make an important difference!

United Alliance is back! This group meets to help educate, promote, and celebrate the many cultures that make up our school community.

We will not be meeting this Wednesday due to a staff meeting, but we will meet next Wednesday, April 8th, after school in Room 919 to begin planning for Multiculturalism Week.

Multiculturalism Week is a vibrant tradition at UCC, celebrating the incredible cultures and vibrant diversity of our school - make sure to be part of it this year !

If you’re interested in getting involved or have any questions, please see Mrs. Fernandes.

STEAM Club runs after school today and will meet in the Manufacturing classroom. If you're interested in building a pedal-powered, phone charging bike and learning skills like cutting steel and welding, come out to 802 after school today.

The Earth & Space Science class is down to the FINAL FOUR: Albert Einstein, who thought up General Relativity VERSUS Arthur Eddington, who proved General Relativity. And Nicolaus Copernicus, who figured out that the planets orbit the Sun, VERSUS Jocelyn Bell Burnell, who built a radio telescope and then discovered pulsars. Make your pick at the Science mural!

Yearbook club will meet today at 2:30. There will be no meeting on Thursday.
