The junior boys volleyball team competed in their third tournament of the season this past Friday. The boys finished first in their pool with the help of every single player on the team and faced a very strong CCHS team in the finals. After losing the first set in a close battle, the boys came back after being down 5 points to win a hard fought battle in the second set, which forced the match to go to a third and final set. After being down 7-8 at the switch, the boys let nothing hit the floor and won the match 15-10 and were crowned the tournament champions. The boys head to Great Lakes in Sarnia tomorrow for the second league night of the season. Congratulations boys!

The senior girls basketball team had a successful weekend going 2-1 in London. Daphne N., Kinsey C., & Alyssa L-H., each won Player of the Game honours with strong performances. Zav B., Peyton N., Kayce F., had strong supporting efforts. Congrats team. League play continues tonight with Northern in town for a 7:00 tip-off.

This past weekend, our Junior Girls Basketball team showed incredible intensity and grit at the Sarnia Northern Tournament, finishing with an impressive 2-1 record on the weekend! The girls battled hard all weekend, ultimately falling just short in a tough final game.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Come out and support the team tonight (Monday) as they face off against Northern once again. Tip-off is at 5:30 PM in the Lancer Dome. Let’s fill the stands and cheer them on loud and proud!
