Sr. girls soccer tryouts are just around the corner. If you had trouble signing up for the team, there is a "NEW" QR Code which can be found on the Lancer News and the Lancer Athletic board. Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after March Break at 5:30-7! If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Mommersteeg, Ms. Moretto or Mrs. Handsor! We can't wait for the season to start!

UCC hosted both the Junior and Senior Badminton Invitational tournaments this week.
On Monday 24 junior players competed long into the night smashing birdies along with over 160 competitors from CK and Sarnia. Notable finishes included Jaida B., and Audrey S., 3rd in girls Doubles, Carter W., and Harper M., 3rd in boys doubles, Fisher C., 3rd in boys singles and Alyssa H., 2nd in girls singles. Dom R., and Alexa B., played as an awesome duo and captured 1st in mixed doubles. Congrats to all players for a good first tournament.
Last night it was our seniors' turn to take to the court and they all played extremely well. In mixed doubles, Ethan M., and Peyton N., finished third while teammates Sawyer F., and Emma R., came second. Lily D., played tough and lost in the finals ended up with second in girls singles and in boys doubles, Dacian and Tiago showed resilience in capturing first place.
Players are asked to check google classroom for an updated practice and tournament schedule for the remainder of the season.
