The Lambton Kent District School Board is running a course called Canadian Black History next semester in an eLearning format. This is the first time this course has been run and it is designed specifically around the local history of Black Canadians. It is being written in collaboration with museums and historians in Windsor. If you are interested in taking this eLearning course, please talk to your guidance counsellor.

Grade 9 students, are you feeling a little uneasy about your first exams? Here is an opportunity that you won’t want to miss: next Wednesday, January 18, you are invited to gather with friends in the cafeteria after school for Coco and Cram. What is that you may be wondering? It is a great way to study for exams! Don’t forget to bring your binders, textbooks, review sheets and your notes! This session will be offered from 2:30 to 3:30, don’t miss it!

The Junior boys basketball team played a spectacular game last night from start to finish, winning 64-20 over the CK hawks. The boys started the game with a fast break layup off the tip off and never looked back! Go Lancers!

UCC’s Abby S helped Canada to a 3-1 victory over the USA on Wednesday. Tune in tomorrow to watch her and team Canada take on Finland in the semifinals at 2pm.
