Hey Lancers, I'm Maggie, I'm Sophia, and we are grade 12 students helping lead our school wide advent call to action for ROCK Missions Chatham. We are collecting warm socks, mittens and gloves for people in need in our community. We will be having a grade level competition but there will be a prize for the class that brings in the most items. Our goal is for 1500 items to be brought in.
Yesterday we had a great start with our collection. We collected close to 300 items! Let's step it up this coming week. When you go Christmas shopping, don't forget to pick up a pair of warm socks, gloves or mittens for those in need. All donations should be brought to your period 3 class. Thank You!
The Lancer Reach for the Top team played 5 season games yesterday at Sarnia Northern. Our Seniors started strong but ran into some trouble in the afternoon games. Our Junior teams, however, both went undefeated including some impressive wins over St Pat's, Northern and LCCVI. Congratulations to all the participants.
The puzzle for the seventh day of "Xmas" has been posted in the math hallway. Solve it and be entered into a draw for some delicious Christmas treats. Yesterday's winners were Fife Betiku and Ethan MacPhee. Come to the math office for your prize. You can still try the previous puzzles and be entered into our grand prize draw on the 12th day.

Student Council is happy to announce the events that will be put on for Christmas week. Monday will be the start of a classroom door decorating contest during period 1 with judging to follow at the end of the week for a prize. Teachers were e-mailed about this earlier in the week. On Tuesday there will be Christmas trivia in the caf during both lunches. Wednesday will bring Christmas Karaoke to the caf on both lunches. An Elf on the shelf scavenger hunt is to take place on Thursday during period 1. Last but not least, Friday will be Ugly Christmas sweater/red and green day. Be sure to bring your Christmas cheer, Lancers!
