Are you ready to embark on another exciting journey of diversity and inclusiveness at our school? Join us this Wednesday after school in room 919 for a meeting of our inclusive club, where we celebrate and embrace the rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds within our UCC community. This year promises even more amazing experiences and opportunities for growth. The junior boys volleyball team headed to the University of Windsor on Saturday to compete in their first tournament of the season. The boys played a tough mix of offence and defence, finishing first in their pool. The team played their way to the finals, winning in two straight sets. Each member of the team improved and contributed to the team's success. Congratulations boys - Mrs. Sanford and Mr. Teeuwen are so proud of you!
Congratulations to the junior girls' basketball team on their performance this weekend at the tournament! Placing 4th is a remarkable achievement, and it reflects your hard work and dedication. Keep up the fantastic work, and we look forward to seeing your continued success in the future!
The senior boys volleyball team had a fantastic start to their season this weekend winning both the University of Windsor and the University of Guelph volleyball tournaments. The team was led by a great distribution of sets from Isiah D, who was tournament MVP at Guelph. We had consistent team defence which allowed Jack G and Cohen G to put the ball away with no chance of it coming back! Next up the boys head to Great Lakes on Wednesday to open up league play. Go Lancers!
