Jr Girls defeated Bishop Redding and Cathedral on Friday earning a spot in the final on Saturday against a very talented St Thomas Moore team. Girls fell behind early but managed to close the gap in the third quarter before eventually falling behind in a fast paced physical match getting the silver at this weekend's Mohawk Tournament. Please congratulate the girls who had a great weekend, playing some pretty amazing basketball. (24)

The Senior Boys Volleyball Team played 18 games of volleyball this past weekend at the University of Waterloo tournament. The team scratched and clawed their way to the playoffs in the 24 team event before losing to Stratford Northwestern. Players of the tournament were Brandon Tennant, Zach Myers, Luke Smolders and Kyle Wammes. Practice is 4:00 for the Seniors but still 5:30 for the Junior Boys.(24)
The junior boys volleyball team competed in their first tournament on Saturday in Essex. The boys went 7-1 in pool play, finishing first. They won a hard fought battle in the semis, defeating Kingsville in three sets. The boys battled and lost a tough match in 3 sets in the finals. Congratulations boys on finishing second in your first tournament! (24)
