SHAD is a summer program where students spend July living at a university while engaging in hands-on learning in Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, Math and Entrepreneurship. On behalf of the Indigenous Leadership of UCC we want to thank the almost 600 students who came to the theatre yesterday to learn about residential schools and hear Susie Jones speak as well as White Lightning Clark drum. For all those wearing orange we thank you. Also thanks goes out to the over 30 teachers in attendance who volunteered their class time in recognition of this day. Lastly to Mrs. Murphy's class who supported the groups initiatives to help decorate our hallways to bring awareness to our history.
