The Track team competed last week at SWOSSA with an outstanding showing. In total we have 11 competitors moving on to OFSSA West:

- Will M in Triple Jump

- Nathan H in Triple Jump and 400m
- Jermery V in all three of his events Shot Discus and Javelin
Special mention goes out to three members who broke school records:
- Tamara D set a new record in the Steeple Chase
- Nathan H broke Brady W record in the 400m
- Jermery V obliterated the shot put record by over a meter.
Good luck to all these athletes who will compete tomorrow in Cambridge.
Attention Senior Football players! Your lift test for June has been cancelled. Please check your email for dates and times to get your equipment for next year. Spring Football will run from June 10 through June 13. We will be dressing players during your lunch from June 3 to June 6. Please check your school email for your assigned dress time. The Lancers concluded a very successful 2019 baseball season with a 13-1 thrashing of the St. Pat's Fighting Irish in the annual Catholic Cup game in Sarnia yesterday.
Stellar performances on the BUMP by the pitching trio of Cameron E, Sam M, and Brock W keep the Irish tied up in a pretzel.
The Lancers clearly had their hitting shoes on........The offensive juggernaut was paced by two hit or two RBI performances by the entire Lancer team of Hawyluk, Ennett, Haddock,Williams, Evans, Lemieux, Fitzmorris, St. Amand, McKinley, Whitson, and Erickson who crushed a ball to deep right and legged out a triple and immediately had to be administered a canister of oxygen!

The boys soccer team battled against St. Joe’s Windsor yesterday for the SWOSSAA senior Boys Soccer title. They found themselves in a 2-0 hole at half time, but they showed a lot of character and grit and fought back to tie it up at 2-2. Nolan D lead the way with two goals, and some key saves by Tyler C kept the Lancers in the game. The boys came up just short after St. Joe’s was awarded a late PK and added another. Mr. Kalp and Mr Wright are very proud of the boys efforts and commitment after an outstanding season. Go Lancers!!!!
The UCC Ultimate Frisbee Team were undefeated in the first 6 games, lost in overtime in the semi finals and we defeated in the last game to take 4th in the OFSSA tournament in Strathroy on Tuesday. UCC is an Ontario Team to beat! Ask your teachers if your class can attend the Period 2 buyout next Monday raising money for Relay for Life as the Ultimate team battles the CK- Police. $2 per person.

Attention all students interested in being a Muskoka Woods Experience Leader for next year. There will be an information meeting today during both lunches in the theater. The online application process will be explained at these sessions.

It is that time of year again. Time to celebrate all that is Athletic. If you played on a team, watched a game or are just a fan of Lancer Athletics please buy your tickets to this year's Athletic Banquet hosted in our own gym Tuesday June 11. Doors open at 5:15, dinner served at 5:30 and awards to follow. Tickets are sold through cash online for $15.00. The chance will close next Wednesday, tickets will be handed out next Thursday.
