Cosmo Club will be meeting today after school in room 918... see you then for our Henna Tattooing workshop!

PEDAGAPE will not be meeting after school today, but will be collecting permission forms for the Shoreline Clean Up, next Monday. Please hand in your form to Mr. Dula, Mrs. Fernandes, or Mr. Girard before the end of the week. 

The senior boys volleyball team are asked to meet in room 507 at 5:15 before practice tonight. 

To staff and students wanting to support Orange Shirt Day, we have a limited supply of orange shirts for sale in room 501.  Mrs. Murphy can help with any questions regarding this.  As for Wednesday, you are invited to wear orange to continue the awareness and learning about the impact that Residential Schools had on our country, province and community. Stay tuned for more announcements regarding Wednesday.  To the members of Kidwin Zhingwaak, a reminder that final preparations are happening today after school in room 506.

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Football team for winning their second game of the season by defeating the fighting Irish of St. Pats 55-0 on Friday.  The Defense led the team with 6 interceptions and two fumble recoveries.  The team plays this Friday against cross town rivals The CK Golden Hawks.  Let’s show our school spirit and GET TO THIS GAME! 

The Senior Girls Basketball Team made it to the championship game at the Bluevale Collegiate tourney in Waterloo on the weekend.  They lost in overtime 63-60 to the Future Academy. Solid offensive performances from Zayda Sprik and Makara Vandusen sparked the Lancers. Erin O’Neill led the team defensively. 

Yearbook club will meet today at 2:30 in the communications room! 

The junior boys volleyball team had a busy and successful weekend, competing in two tournaments. The boys headed to McMaster on Friday, where they went undefeated in both of their pool plays. The boys made it to the finals with only 7 players and finished second in the tournament against a strong Eden team. They headed to CKSS on Saturday and finished second in the tournament, including beating the Hawks from CKSS twice but losing in the championship to a very strong Oakridge team. Congratulations to all the players on a successful weekend! 

A reminder to all tennis players - please be at practice today after school at Tecumseh.  If you cannot make it please see Mr. Evans ASAP.
