The Girls Ice Hockey team continued their terrific start to the hockey season with a win over Gonzaga Mississauga 6-3 yesterday to finish first in their pool. The Lancers then faced off against the top ranked St. Thomas Aquinas in the A division Semifinals. After being down 2-0, the Lancers came storming back with a goal by Natalie B, set up by Cassie W and Brooke M. Amber P stood on her head to keep the Lancers in the game, and in the dying seconds of the game with the goalie pulled, Rechelle K tied up the game for the Lancers to send the game into a shootout. In an epic 10 round shootout, the Lancers would fall to ST Thomas Aquinas. Game star goes to Amber P. The coaches are all very proud of your efforts. The Lady Lancers have a quick turnaround as they face off against CK today at 2:30 at Thames Campus. Come on out and support the girls!
