Last night, the junior girls volleyball team battled it out against St. Anne's high school for the SWOSSA championship. The girls started off the night great taking the first set. They continued to battle hard, rallying constantly but unfortunately lost in 4 sets. The girls worked so hard and overcame many hurdles. Coach Teeuwen, Bos and Biskey are very proud of you. Way to go girls. A huge shoutout to staff and the many fans who travelled out to support the girls. It was definitely one of the biggest crowds for an away game that a junior team has ever had. Way to go LANCERS!

Yesterday 10 members of the UCC wrestling team competed at SWOSSAA in Windsor. After some tough battles 5 have qualified to compete at OFSAA! Gold medals were locked up by Alyssa C., Landyn B., and Ayden B. A silver medal was cinched up by Emmanuella C., Paige S., and Abby C.-B., pinned down bronze medals. Honourable mention to Dean R., who beat the 1st place WECSSAA finisher, and the 3rd place LKSSAA finisher on his way to a 4th place SWOSSAA finish. Way to go once again wrestlers. You make UCC Lancer Proud!

The Boys Hockey Team continued their dance with Lady Mo last night in Sarnia with a 6-3 win over St. Pat's. Cohen Kirkwood and Preston Anderson continued their torrid pace with a goal apiece, but it was Brighton Anderson's hat trick that led the way for the Lancers. Lukas D., was steady between the pipes when it mattered most, and Dacian V., iced the game with an empty netter. The Lancers will play in the LKSSAA Finals next week; please check with Ty Law for ticket information and VIP seating. Go Lancers Go!

Huge congratulations go out to the junior Reach for the Top Teams. After 10 games of Round Robin play, both teams are undefeated by other schools, easily securing the first and second spot with 5 more games to play. Congratulations gentleman!
