Weightroom will be open on Tuesday and Thursday this week after school.
Team pictures are today. Times are posted in the halls and teachers have access through staff email to the listing. You may leave class 10 minutes prior to your picture and must be back in class 10 minutes after. Go outside to access the theater lobby to change using those washrooms off the lobby. Be on time for your picture or you will miss it. Do not go to the gym to change. Follow the protocols as there are a lot of teams and athletes to get done in a short time.
ANY students needing community service hours are encouraged to check out the Guidance Updates in Edsby for lots of recently posted opportunities. There are upcoming opportunities for Learning Disabilities Chatham Kent, cleanup on the shoreline of Mitchell’s Bay and volunteers are needed to help at Camp Vincent. Check your Edsby group updates or talk to your Guidance Counsellor for more information.
The UCC senior badminton team traveled to Sarnia this Saturday in the LKSSAA finals competing for spots at SWOSSA next week. The Lancers dominated; girls doubles of Wells and Bondy finished 3rd, Samantha L and Ethan V both won their singles divisions. Another all UCC boys doubles finals saw the Countryman duo win in a close match versus the Moreno brothers, and our mixed doubles team of Cryderman and Goulet lost a heartbreaker in the final match finishing a close second. The overall team performance helped UCC capture the LKSSAA title for this year. Well done! All players are reminded of pictures today at 8:50am and practice after school.

Be sure to ask your period 1 teachers to watch the final Literacy Loop- Tips for Test Day, attend the Literacy workshop in room 106 TODAY after school, and do some extra prep by looking at the resources posted on Google classroom.
