Ephram R- yes! Yes! Yes! Boy, did you ever set the mood, for the day! We couldn’t look away!

Big congrats to all of our performers. It takes a considerable amount of courage to perform in front of a live audience. You were all so impressive!! UCC is so blessed to have such talent within these walls. Bravo!

Just a reminder that there is no badminton today after school. Tryouts and practices resume on Monday; 2:30 for Seniors and 4pm for juniors. Contact your coaches if you have any concerns or questions

The girls hockey team are SWOSSAA champions!!! The lady lancers defeated Villanova of Windsor in one of the most epic comebacks in high school hockey history. Despite outplaying Villanova for the first two periods, the ladies were down 2-0 late in the second. Natalie B scored a short handed goal with a minute and a half left in the second to give the Lancers some life, only for Villanova to quickly score to hold a 3-1 lead into the third. Instead of putting their heads down the Lancers came out flying in the third period, lead by Natalie aka Captain Clutch. UCC scored early and often in the third to completely shell shock Villanova with 5 unanswered goals. Natalie scored a hat trick, Jacqueline D pottted 2 goals, Arionna H scored one and Fiona W collected 4 assists. Amber P stood up tall in the third to deny Villanova any more goals, and strong defensive play by Fiona, Lucie M, Ella D, Dalia B and Ava M helped her do so. Jocalin H, Ava F, Addison A, Alyssa F and Laryn A were flying all over the ice for the Lancers to get the job done. Mr Wright, Ms. Balkwill and Mr King are so proud of the girls heart and desire they showed to come back and win the game. The Lancers will head to OFSAA after the March break in Windsor. Gooooo Lancers!!!
