The girl's softball team had a strong start to their season last night against the McGregor Panthers. Gabby S scored the team's first homerun of the year! Special shout outs go out to Taya D, Brooke R and our BOLD niner- Stella N, for stepping up and trying a new kind of pitching! Practice tomorrow at 2:30 at Lyons Park.
On Tuesday night, the Rugby boys traveled to St. Pats. We lost the game but have learned a ton in the process. We had some excellent runs down half the field by too many to mention. After turning over the ball to St. Pats we double legged, I mean tackled, the best of their guys to slow them down but in the end we lost zero to four tries. Way to go boys! Hold your heads up high, you've come a long way in a short time. Practices resume next Tuesday.
