On behalf of the students and staff of Ursuline College, the admin team would like to extend a very heart felt thank you to all our families and friends for an amazing four months of the 2018-2019 school year.
Over the past month we have held numerous activities in preparation for Christmas. Some of the highlights included our Pedagape Christmas Dinner where we served 150 guests from our community. It was a wonderful evening. We recently celebrated our Advent Mass for each grade level. Our Advent theme was joy. Student council had lunch time activities for the students and the Link Crew shared a Christmas cookie decoration lunch for the grade 9 class. Tremendous efforts have been graciously given by so many – time, generosity, acts of charity and good will. The Christmas spirit is alive and well here at UCC.
As we head into January, the end of the semester is in sight. Exams are the end of the month so students and staff are in the process of preparation to wrap up courses and study. Students will receive their semester 2 timetables early January and have until January 16 to request timetable changes. It will be a busy month focusing on academics.
UCC will also hold our annual Grade 8 Open House on Thursday, January 31st at 7 pm. Any grade 8 students and their parent or guardian is welcome to join us in our theatre at 7 pm for an information session and guided tours. Please plan on being with us.
As we head into our Christmas break, we wish every family a peace filled holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
