The Lancer cheerleaders competed at the Bradley Center here in Chatham yesterday, and had a stellar performance once again. The ladies worked hard, stunted big, and smiled brightly earning themselves first place in their division! A job very well done to each of you. Special thank you to all of the Lancers who came out to show their support! The team is heading to Mississauga Sunday to compete in their last competition of the year. Let’s go Lancers!

The senior girls volleyball team were back in action this past Saturday, competing in the Chatham Kent Hall of Fame tournament at CKSS. The team went undefeated in their pool and dominated their opponents in the playoffs. The girls played a tough Oakridge team in the finals, but the girls played some of their best volleyball of the season and won the championship in two straight sets! Team MVP was Rowan G., with Autumn F., and Campbell P., being voted as team MVPs by their opponents, and Campbell P., taking home the overall tournament MVP. The team heads to WDSS on Wednesday for their last league night of the season. Great job ladies!
The senior boys basketball team shook off the rust this past weekend to win the Riverside tournament in Windsor. In the Championship game, the team played outstanding defense holding their opponents to only 2 points in both the 2nd and 4th quarter on route to a 84-25 victory. The boys wrap up the regular season this week playing at home on Tuesday and Thursday. Wear your blue and white and come out to watch!

All Teachers, With some buses cancelled this morning, you will find that bus students are G coded. Please leave the G and have the students call down to the attendance line 4003 if they happen to show up to your class so we can adjust the attendance for the remainder of the day.
