Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4 athletes from the UCC track team competed at the OFSSA track and field championships in Toronto. Each event has 24 of the best competitors from all over Ontario. Aislyn D. was 14th in the novice girls triple jump, Seth M. was 13th in the novice boys triple jump, Lily B. was 9th in the junior girl’s high jump and Madeline V. was 6th in the novice girls 400 meter and then just missed a medal in the novice girls 300-meter hurdles finishing 4th just 0.14 seconds behind bronze. Congratulations to all athletes on their seasons and OFSSA performances.
Tonight's the night. The athletic Banquet is here. Doors will open at approximately 4:30 and Dinner will be served at 5:00. Dress attire is business casual, no denim! After dinner we will proceed to the theatre for the awards presentation. For any questions please stop by the phys ed office.
Today is the last day for donations for the summer clothing swap and uniform donation drive. We will be around shortly after announcements. We invite everyone to come to the clothing swap on Friday during both lunches, or on Thursday if you have an early access ticket.
