What did Jesus have to say about kindness? His teachings offer some powerful insights that are still relevant today, especially for us as high school students navigating friendships, pressures, and the challenges of growing up. Jesus didn't just talk about kindness; he lived it. He showed compassion to those who were often overlooked or marginalized, like the sick, the poor, and those who were different. He taught that kindness isn't just a feeling, but an action. It's about actively choosing to treat others with respect, empathy, and generosity, even when it's not easy.

Starting today, with your teachers, you can grab a sticky note and write a kind message. This is your chance to leave encouraging, uplifting, and positive messages for your fellow students and teachers. Think about what would make your day better – a compliment, a word of support, a funny joke, or just a simple "You got this!" Send all your ‘Stick with Kindness’ sticky notes to the dance studio and look for them around the school throughout the week.

Today’s kindness thought is…Believe in the power of your own words.

The Boys Hockey team closed out the regular season with a 3-2 win over the LK Cardinals last night. Despite playing short handed, the boys played relentless and stifled the Cardinal attack. Rowen V. was solid in the net, earning the win. Goals were scored by Carson B., Cohen K. and Jimmy P.

Wish the boys luck as they visit Sarnia Northern today in their semi final matchup. Go Lancers Go!

The Senior Boys basketball team won their 3rd consecutive LKSSAA championship last night beating Sarnia Northern 71-52. The team was lead by their bench mob of Sawyer E., Kuper H., Aiden F., Mateo S.and Jon F. who energized their teammates throughout the game. The Lancers intense defense and relentless rebounding proved to be too much for the Vikings. The Lancers staff and students who came out to support the boys were also instrumental in the victory! Next up is the SWOSSAA championship tomorrow night at 7:00 at UCC. The team will need another rowdy crowd to fuel them to victory over the provinces top team, Holy Names. Hope to see you there.
