Students between the ages of 15 and 29 can apply to the 2019 Summer Company program where they can receive up to $3000 to help with start-up costs for their business. Students will receive training in sales, marketing, bookkeeping, customer relationship management and networking. Last night, the Senior Boys soccer team kicked off their season with a 4-1 win at home over their crosstown rivals CKSS. It was a great overall performance by the team, in a hard fought game. Goals were scored by Evan Wells, Lorenz Wanger and Lucas Fancy who had two. The boys look to keep the momentum going when they take on LCCVI in Petrolia next week. Go Lancers!!!

Congratulations to the excellent play by the members of the senior Lancer badminton team at the LKSAA finals yesterday at St. Clair College 6 out of 10 players move on to SWOSSA next week with the other 4 coming one position short from moving on.. The coaches would like to thank Tom Bondy, Mitch Lucier, Makailey Bray and Sierra Tooshkenig for their great effort. Matt Hawryluk, Olivia Lozon, Erica DeMartinis, Isabelle DeMartinis, Garret Day and Dakota Vangoethem will all be competing next week. Well done. Practices resume today at 2:30.
Attention ALL Gr.12 graduating students - are you interested in having extra cash for college or university? The Weese Scholarship is a $2500 fund for a graduating student with a parent or grandparent employed by CK Fire, Police or EMS services. IF you are interested in this scholarship, see Mr. Matteis in guidance ASAP as applications are due in May.

Volunteers Needed! Earn your volunteer hours at TJ Stables by assisting children with special needs ride horses. Acceptional Therapeutic horseback riding Spring Session starts Monday, April 29th from 5-8pm. This program runs for 8 weeks every Monday evening.
