Return the Borrowed Books Week is celebrated in the first week of March as a reminder to return the books you borrowed from the Lancer Commons. Too often, books are borrowed and not returned to the Lancer Commons. No questions asked, please place your borrowed book in the box by the Lancer Commons door.
Attention grade 9 and 10s! Do you love football and want to play this spring? Did you miss the Fall season but want to give it a try? There will be a meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, March 4 in room 905 for information regarding a brief junior Football spring season. You do not need any prior experience - you just need to be willing to give it a try. Go Blue!
Spring is almost here and that means track and field season is too. Whether you want to run fast, run long, jump high, jump far, throw or hurdle, there is something for everyone. Look for the QR code in the hall to sign up.
UCC boys rugby will be starting after March Break. The first tryout will be on Monday March 17 at Lions Park at 2:45 p.m. Sign up by putting your name and grade on the sign-up sheet outside of Room 205. Speak to Mrs. Schatte before Period 1 in Room 205 if you have any questions.

A huge congratulations go out to this year's Reach for the Top Competitive Trivia Team. UCC sent 4 teams (2 junior and 2 senior) to regions in Petrolia. After 18 Games of regular season play, UCC has had a strong showing.
Our Juniors finished first (after tiebreakers) and fifth overall. Shout out to Ethan M., for leading the team to victory and for the strong performances of Victor C., Jonathon T., Alex B., James P., Adrian A., and Kolten M.
For the Seniors, they faced tough competition from both LCCVI and Northern, home to a former contestant of "Canada's Smartest Kid". After a 3 way tie for first, the UCC seniors ended up in 3rd and 4th place. Strong performances from Aidan R., Colin M., Amy "Parking Ticket" C., Issic A., Shelby M., Gary G., amd Myles G., who braved snow and ice in the Bruce P., to make the games and to Robert V., and Megan L., for filling in when needed.
