The Girls Ice Hockey team team took on the Northern Vikings yesterday in their LKSAA Semifinals. After going down a goal, the girls stormed back with two quick goals by Cassie W and Brooke M. Northern tied it up 2-2 late in the second and the game would stay deadlocked through the third period and overtime. In the shoot out, a clutch Cassie goal kept the Lancers alive and in the seventh sudden death round Sophie C buried to give the Lancers the victory! A great all around performance from all the Lancers, especially Amber P who made many key saves, including 6 of 7 in the shootout. Great job ladies! The Lady Lancers face off against CK next week in the LKSSAA finals. Gooo Lancers!!!
The Rainbow Alliance will be meeting next Tuesday, after school, in room 608.
The Boys Hockey Team booked their ticket to a 2nd consecutive LKSSAA Championship with a dominant 4-1 win over St. Pat's yesterday. Stay tuned for game time next week as the Boys face off against CK in a rematch of last year's final.
