Attention, Lancers! This is a reminder that our annual Terry Fox Walk will take place on Wednesday, September 24th during period 4. All teachers are asked to check the recent email sent to UCC staff by Mr. Armstrong that provides more information about the day. The Lancer baseball team split its two games this week. Losing to CKSS on Tuesday 14-4, despite a solid pitching effort by Royce B. Wednesday saw the Lancers bounce back in a big way with a 13-3 drubbing of the Dresden ballclub. A great pitching performance by Luca R and timely hitting by the whole team was the key. Next up is the Tilbury ballclub!
The Junior lady Lancers basketball team SHOWED up ready to play and came out with an incredible win last night against St Pats! The girls left everything on the court, battling hard on defence and showing unstoppable energy from start to finish. Defensive leaders Anna M and Alivia H set the tone, diving for every loose ball and giving their all for the team. On the offensive end, Ella M lit it up with 15 points and some clutch 3s that had the gym rocking! A big thank you as well to our amazing student section, your energy, cheers, and school spirit made the gym electric and kept the team fired up. You were LOUD, you were PROUD, and you made us all Lancer Proud! The lancers face CK next week! Gooooooooo lancers !!!
