UCC Senior Boys soccer tryouts will begin Tuesday after school. Please come prepared with the proper soccer gear and attire for the weather conditions. If you are not able to make it, or have any questions please let Mr. Kalp, Mr. Wright or Mr. Teeuwen know.

Yearbook club will meet today in room 808. Please log onto a computer right away. There will be a virtual guest speaker from 2:30-3:15 to answer questions about the InDesign program.
Here are some important announcements in regards to the OSSLT:
First of all, Ms. Magliaro would like to congratulate Madame Vilaranda's period 4 class for winning yet another Grammar Blitz Contest. Her class went neck and neck with Mrs. Brewer's class who submitted all the correct answers 5 minutes later! 5 minutes! Each student got mini hand pies! Yum!
Period 2 grade 10 classes, don't miss your chance to win this week. Period 2 grade 10 teachers, pull up Ms. Magliaro's Literacy Loop page and complete the Grammar Contect google form. Do it- do it NOW! Don't miss out.
Also, just a reminder for those of you preparing for the OSSLT- there will be another after school literacy workshop today in room 106. Show up and your name will be entered to win a personal pizza delivered right to your table at lunch. The more workshops you attend, the better chance you have at winning a pizza AND the better chance you have at passing the test! Names will be drawn just after the OSSLT.
When is the OSSLT you ask? All grade 10s are writing on April 27th- that's 23 days away! All senior rewrites will come in on May 18th- be sure to check your email and let Ms. Magliaro know if you are going to re-write or take OLC. Have a great day everyone.
