The Jr Girls soccer team is getting better each game! The Lancers fell short against LCCVI, with a 2-1 score. Sierra Moore set in a beautiful cross that found the net! Special shutout goes to Angelina Semykina for her hard work and hustle when she gets on the field! Keep working hard ladies!
The senior girls basketball team won a gritty battle against Great Lakes last night 51-47 to go 2-1 in league play. The Lancers demonstrated tough, resilient play to take a lead at half, lose a lead in the third, then battle back to close out the win in front of a rowdy crowd. Daphne N., led the team in scoring with 21, Alyssa Lee H., chipped in 10 and Alora D., 8, including a big 3 to seal the game. Gooo Lancers!
The Junior boys soccer team took down LCCVI last night in their home opener. Miles C., got the Lancers up early with a pair of goals, and MJ C., added another to put the blue lancers up over the red lancers 3-0 at half. MJ would finish off a slick passing sequence with Ben B., for his second of the game and Miles would add a third late for his first hat trick as a Lancer and a 5-0 win for UCC. Nolan D., recorded his second shutout with help from a strong back line in front of him. UCC takes on Northern at home next Tuesday. Gooo Lancers!!!
