Hi Lancers! UCC is starting up the Dead Battery Recycling Collection once again. All dead batteries accepted! Primary or rechargeable, alkaline or lithium, batteries from phones, gaming controllers, watches, flashlights and power tools. Did you know that we recycled over 154 lbs of battery waste during the last collection! That’s amazing! Let’s keep moving forward with redirecting toxic waste. Don't let the world suffer by the release of heavy metals into our soils and waterways. No need to put these in the trash - bring them to us! Stop by the science floor, specifically room 909 for the battery drop off station.
There will be no concert band practice this week.
The Senior Boys Volleyball Team had another great weekend playing well at the CK tournament. After winning their pool over CK and Eden they split with top contenders from Hamilton, Sudbury and Kingston. The Lancers lost a hard fought playoff game to Hamilton District in a rematch. Players of the tournament were Carter P, Alex C, Jack G and Isiah D. The seniors are back in action Wednesday at McGregor.
All SHSM Arts and Culture students are asked to meet outside of room 915 at the beginning of lunch tomorrow for a very quick meeting.
