Thanks to those who tried the Twelfth Day of Christmas puzzle yesterday. Congratulations to our winner: Ben Denys.

And thank you to all the students who participated in this Christmas puzzle challenge over the past 12 days. Each correct answer entered you into a draw for one of our final prizes. The winners are: Oliver F., Harper M., Charlotte M., Clara B., and Colton F.

The student with the most participation was Zac B., who tried 11 of the 12 problems.

The student with the most correct answers was Colin M., who answered 9 of the problems correctly.

These students can come to the math office to claim their prize.

They came, they saw, they conquered! Despite a valiant effort by the boys hockey team, they dropped their 7th straight game to the alumni all stars last night 13-6. Despite Jason “The dangler “ D., being a late healthy scratch, the alumni were buzzing all over the offensive zone. After a tight first period, the alumni started to assert their dominance in the second frame, led by the sweet touch of Brayden “the twine tickler” T., and Will “the thrill” T. James “the sauce king” M., lived up to his name leading the alum with 8 helpers! The back end was anchored by Mike “magic mitts” M., and KJ “the wall” T., lived up to his nickname in net! The almost capacity crowd was electric and they bore witness to a rare feat; each of the 4 teachers on the alumni roster lit the lamp! Thanks to all who participated and good luck next year boys!

The senior boys basketball team played great over the last two days in Toronto. Taye H., led the team in scoring. Gibson D., shot the lights out. DJ P., mercilessly attacked the rim and Tez H., routinely shut down the oppositions best player.

Roof repairs may be needed because the UCC Christmas Invitational Wrestling Tournament just about blew it off after the rumble in the Lancer Dome yesterday!!! 28 wrestlers competed (we were down in numbers due to a number of injuries and illness'). Our boys Open team please first out of the 9 schools that attended. Our wrestlers are getting ready for the holidays with all the silver and gold and bronze too. Gold medalist's were Anna K., Landyn B., Dean R., Anthony P., and Hunter H., Silver medalists were Paige S., Ayden B., Landyn B., (again!), Lucas P., Carter M., and Alex D. Bronze medalists were Lydia W., Lydia M., Cameron V., Austin K., Cameron A., and Ethan D. Shout out to the 4th place finishers, who also helped earn team points, Zack C., James G. and Logan S.

If you enjoyed watching the fights on the TV's yesterday, and you would like to be part of this amazing sport next year, send Mr. Parent an email now. Merry Christmas to all the wrestlers and don't forget to drop by to see Mr. Parent to get your special Christmas gifts!
