Good morning! Today is Mindful Monday, a day dedicated to taking care of your mental health. Just like we take care of our physical health, our mental health is equally important. It’s okay to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or anxious at times – but it's important to recognize those feelings and take steps to manage them.

Why is mental health important?
Mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. It also influences how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. By looking after our mental well-being, we’re setting ourselves up for success in school, relationships, and in life.

Let’s take a moment to pause and focus on our breath – a quick meditation to help us ground ourselves for the rest of the day.

Meditation Moment

Sit comfortably and close your eyes if you can.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose… hold it for a second… and then breathe out gently through your mouth.
Let’s do that three more times: Inhale… hold… exhale.
As you breathe, let go of any tension in your body. Imagine the air filling you with calm and positivity.
Now, gently open your eyes when you’re ready.

Today's Mindful Challenge:
After your meditation, take a moment to write down three things you're grateful for today. It could be anything – something small or big – just anything that brings you peace or joy. This simple act helps reduce stress and boosts positivity!

Remember, mental health matters. Let’s support ourselves and each other. Have a mindful and positive Monday!

Today we are going to have:

Lunchtime Gratitude: What are you thankful for today? Add it to our wall and share the positivity!
