UCC is now accepting applications for the role of Catholic Student Trustee for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.
This is an opportunity to represent UCC students at the Board level, share your perspective with Trustees, and deepen your understanding of leadership, governance, and the mission of Catholic education. The position includes a $2,500 honorarium. Student Trustees attend all Board meetings, with a commitment of one to two evenings per month.
If you are committed to Catholic education, ready to lead, and able to meet the time expectations, consider applying. Please see Ms. Harnarine if you have any questions. Applications are available in the Main Office and are due February 20th.
Attention to all students interested in trying out for the UCC Badminton. Jr boys and girls tryouts will start today, at 4pm and Thursday at 5:30pm Do your best to attend.

The first meeting of the new STEAM Club will be postponed until next Tuesday due to bus cancellations. Next week we will start planning and designing a bike that can charge your phone!
Art Club will run on Thursday after school.
On Friday night our Junior Girls Volleyball team competed for the LKSSAA Championship. While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, these athletes left everything on the court and represented our school with incredible heart, teamwork, and class. We are so proud of them and the amazing season they had.
A huge thank you to the staff and students who came out to support these ladies , we are truly blessed to be part of such an amazing school community.

The senior girls volleyball team competed in the LKSSAA finals on Friday night against CKSS in front of a packed UCC gym. The girls played with heart and passion, capturing the LKSSAA championship. MVP of the night was Abi P., for her tough serves and great sets. The team will play for the SWOSSAA championship HERE AT UCC on Tuesday, February 24th. More details to follow. We would like to thank all of the staff and students who came to help cheer and support the team to another title. Great job ladies!
The UCC cheerleading squad headed up to Kitchener on Sunday for their last competition of the season. The Lancers finished off the season strong, taking home 1st place, the judges choice award, and hit ZERO in their routine. If you see these Lancers in the hallway today, be sure to congratulate them on such an incredible victory! A special shoutout to Alla M., Ivy D., and N’Tayea L., who competed in their last competition for UCC. You will be greatly missed next year ladies!!! Goooo Lancers!
Congratulations to our Cheer team for an outstanding performance in Kitchener this past weekend at the Ontario Championships. The team secured first place in their division and received the Judges’ Choice Award for the highest overall school score.
We celebrate the entire team’s success and extend a heartfelt thank you to our departing seniors—Alla, N’Tayea and Ivy—for their years of leadership and commitment to the program. Way to go, girls!
