Congratulations to the Junior Girls Volleyball team on their first tournament of the season at McMaster University.
The girls finished 2nd in their pool in the morning and battled hard against a AAAA school, Eden. Later in the afternoon, they persevered keeping their spirits up going to 3 sets in their semis and then going another 3 sets falling short of a bronze medal. The girls were positive the entire day on and off the court. Amazing job Lancers!
Come out and support the girls after school in their first league night here in the Lancer Dome starting at 4o'clock.
A reminder to Mrs. Brosseau's Period 3 Science class: please meet in the Dance Studio today.

The senior lancers beat Sarnia northern last night 65-57. After a great first quarter the team had a rough second quarter and were down by 6 at halftime. Thanks to great defensive intensity, the team was able to turn it around in the second half. Jaxen B. lead the team in scoring with 25 pts and Jack G. came up big with 17 pts. Nathan V. provided a spark off the bench. Thanks to the fans who came out to watch the game!
