The Children's Treatment Centre is collecting pop tabs from all types of cans to raise money for a local child's wheelchair. Save your pop-tabs and bring them to Mme Vilaranda's in room 208 to help support this great cause!
CK CYBER PACK IS BACK!! If you are interested in Computer Design, Marketing, Computer Programming, Team Building, Mechanics, and, of course, Robots. Come to any of our meetings every week from Tuesday to Thursday starting at 6:00PM in Chatham at 55 Forest street, Blairs boot camp. This week, we will be coding and rebuilding some robots in preparation for competition. Students, Parents, and Teachers are all welcome. Check us out on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. The Junior Boys Basketball Team will begin tryouts, tonight at 4pm in the gym. Anyone interested in trying out should sign up using the QR code on the bulletin boards in the main hallway. If you have any questions, see Mr. Jones or Ms. Houston in the Phys Ed office.
The Senior Boys Volleyball Team competed at the OFSAA Championships this past weekend. The team finished second in their pool with a 3-1 record bringing them to the quarterfinals. On Friday night, in front of a great crowd, the Lancers took on Eden from St. Catharines. After losing the first two sets, the boys battled back to win a 5 set thriller 20-18 in the fifth set. This brought them to the semifinals where they just fell short to the eventual gold medallists. The senior boys had a tremendous season and finished 4th overall in the province. Congratulations, Lancers!
UCC sent 10 wrestlers to compete in Windsor over the weekend. We grappled well for our first tournament. Alyssa C snatched 1st place, qualifying her to represent south western Ontario and compete in Thunder-bay in Feb at the Ontario winter games. Paige S pinned down a third place finish. Way to go to all wrestlers that attended!
The girls hockey team list has been posted. Please check the phys ed board and make sure that you check your email for further information. Our first practice will be this Wednesday from 2:30 - 4 at Memorial arena.

We need your UCC Cares Christmas spirit in order to prepare for one of the most memorable and joyful events of the school year. We need your help turning our school Caf into the most magical place on earth (second to Disney World) by creating an enormous amount of Christmas decorations.
