The Junior Girls Volleyball Team dominated yesterday in their final league night of the season. The ladies came back from a tough first set against CK and beat the Hawks in the second set 25-6. The ladies kept Wallaceburg under 10 points both games and are ranked first in their league! Honorable mentions go out to Johyna V for her wicked serves and to Karissa V for her great voice and positivity when hyping up her team. The MVP goes out to Orlagh G for her consistent sets throughout the night.

The junior girls volleyball tournament team had an exhibition match against ESPC last night. The girls won three out of the four games lead by the outstanding service game of Lindsey D, the great defense by Gisele D and the all around effort and leadership of “Sugar” Stella N. Great team performance. Girls are reminded of their practice today at 2:30.

Come out to support the junior girls on Tuesday for their semi finals. Start time of the game will be announced soon. Amazing job ladies, Mr. Teeuwen, Mrs. Bos and Mr. Biskey are very proud!

The girls hockey team took on their cross town rivals CK last night. The Lancers struck first on a goal by Jackie D, set up by Fiona W. CK would tie the game up, only for Natalie "Junkyard Dawg" J to bury a rebound, set up by Jocalin H and Sierra L, to give the Lancers the lead going into the third. Mya S made many great saves, and the Lancers had a great third period from their whole team, unfortunately CK would tie up the game with less than a minute left against the run of play. The Lady Lancers take on St Pats on Monday. Gooo Lancers.
