A reminder that The Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus Council 1412 would like to invite all Grade 12s who plan to attend post secondary to enter this year's Poetry Contest for a chance to win a $500 Bursary. Students are asked to write a maximum of a one page poem with the theme of: Called to Love as Jesus does.

For those students interested in working out after school. There has to be staff in the weight room in order for you to work out. Starting Tuesday Feb. 20 we will open the weight room after school to be used until 3:30. Schedules will be posted on the weight room doors down the 500 hallway near the cardio room. Proper workout clothing and shoes is mandatory. Please ask in the Phys Ed office if you have any questions.
Attention all artists, anyone interested in painting the set for this years musical Matilda is asked to scan the QR code outside of 919. Mrs. Fernandes is looking for any student that is willing to commit time and talent to make the set come to life. Base painters and technically skilled painters are needed.
The Jr Girls Volleyball tournament team travelled to North Lambton Secondary School for their final tournament of the season. The girls finished first in their pool behind some strong front court play by Lily "Born in the 2000s" B., Julia L. & Lindsay D., the setting of Alysta B., and the excellent defense of Gisele D. The girls lost a tough 3 set semi-final to the eventual champions despite the tireless efforts of captains Haylee C., and 'Sugar' Stella N. Congratulations on a great season ladies!

The Junior Girls Volleyball Team swept the competition last night in their semi-finals here in the Lancer Dome! The ladies brought their A-Game last night and sent the Vikings sailing back home. The team displayed great consistency and resilience during their sets and performed very well under pressure. The Lancers will face off against CK this Friday for the LKSSAA finals here at UCC! Come and support these stellar athletes! Another update with the time will be announced in the next few days. Congratulations ladies, your coaches are very proud of you all!

The senior girls volleyball team were back in action last night to take on St. Pat's of Sarnia in the LKSSAA semi finals. The girls played strong offence and defence, sending the Fighting Irish home in three straight sets. MVP of the night was Megan "Pitbull" B., for her killer serves and defence. The girls head to CKSS this Friday to take on the hawks for the LKSSAA championship. More details and times to follow.
