The senior boys basketball team became back to back LKSSAA champions on Saturday night, beating Sarnia Northern 65-50. The team played outstanding defense with Rees E. and CJ R. holding Northern’s best scorer to 11 points on the night. 4 Lancers scored double digits: Jaxen B. had 20 points, Isiah D. had 17 points, CJ R. Had 15 and Jack G. l had 11. CJ R. was the finals mvp for his outstanding play on both ends of the floor. The team would like to thank the tremendous Lancer fans who came to watch Saturday night. Next up is the SWOSSAA Finals in Windsor on Thursday night at 6:30. The Lancers will take on Holy Names in what will be a packed house and a hostile gym so the team could use your support once again!
The senior girls volleyball team headed to CKSS on Friday to battle for the LKSSAA championship. The girls played tough offence and defence, leaving it all on the floor, but unfortunately their season came to an end. MVP of the night was Stella M. The team would like to thank all of the staff and students who came out to support and cheer. Congratulations on a wonderful season ladies!
Attention members of the Senior Badminton team who played on the team last year. If you are interested in playing in the ESPC Team Challenge tournament on Saturday March 2nd. please see the flyer with the QR code to the Google Form posted on the gym doors, outside the Phys. Ed office and outside room 601.
Also, those students interested in playing Sr. Badminton this year keep your ears open for try out dates. We will be starting next week!!

The Junior Girls Volleyball Team were victorious in the LKSSAA Finals on Friday night, sending the Hawks flying back home! The ladies came rough and ready to face-off against CK and swept them away in 3 straight sets. The ladies kept a steady lead the entire night and did not waste any time claiming victory. The MVP of the night goes to "OG" Orlagh G. for her amazing sets and ability to lead the team to victory. All the ladies performed extremely well under pressure and should be a force to be reckoned with as they head to Belle River this Wednesday for SWOSSA. Thank you to all of the fans, teachers and parents who came out to cheer on these stellar athletes. Congratulations ladies, Mr. Teeuwen, Mrs. Bos and Mr. Biskey are extremely proud of you!
