The UCC girls slo pitch team took on JMSS and Ridgetown yesterday afternoon. The girls won both games handily, besting JMSS by a score of 8-2 and then dominating Ridgetown in a 16-1 victory. Special shoutouts go to Brooke R. for two stellar pitching performances and Sierra L. for some incredible plays in the field. There are too many players to mention in terms of hitting as everyone was getting on base. The girls take on CKSS and ESPC this afternoon as they look to clinch a spot in the LKSSAA playoffs.
Congratulations goes out to the boys rugby team. They defeated GLSS 31-10 last night on our home turf. The boys had a rough start but once they got the steamroller going, there was no stopping them. Wish the guys luck as they will travel up to Sarnia next Wednesday to battle St. Pats for the LKSSAA championship.
