If you missed the Not-So-Silent-Night Christmas concert on Wednesday, you missed the game of the year! The grade 10’s started out strong with a cartoon triple play. They showed remarkable teamwork, with great solo work by Colin, Blake, Gabriel, Jordyn, Bella and Henry. In the second quarter the jazz band scored some mighty tunes - a little Stormy at first, but then, Oh Joy, with Aidan on point they showed who was Boss.
In the third quarter, the choir launched some Christmas favorites and even broke the a capella barrier in the final moments of the period. Blake and Jon had big assists on the Emmanuel chorus. After the second intermission saw some action with Leah’s own Not-So-Silent-Night special, the fourth quarter started with a strong “O-yay!” featuring unanswered goals by Liam, Blake and Adam. The game nearly had to be called on account of heavy snow, but the teams were able to carry on in a tandem finish on Feliz Navidad. Vernice and Frankie called a great game, and the Lancer Musicians pulled off a 13-0 win! Congratulations on your big night!
