Next Thursday is Halloween Lancers, we need to paint it black by scaring hunger. Last year we made such a difference with the food we collected on Halloween night, it was incredible! This will be our 17th year scaring hunger. Let’s make it count and do even better this year! Our community needs us! Gather your friends and family to come “Trick or treating” for canned goods for the food bank. Sign up is at the beginning of each lunch.

The 7s rugby squad drove up the QEW yesterday for a tournament in grimsby. The girls walked away with a silver medal, fighting to the very end. Zoie barney K., finished the day with 6 tries, slippery Vic M., and Tina taco T., had 4 each, with Anna Banana K., close behind with three, and Payton the foot A., had 3 conversion kicks. The lancers walked away with 163 points in the day. They showed grit and passion, and had a great day of rugby. Way to go girls!
The Junior Boys soccer team take on Sarnia Northern for the LKSSAA championship today at 4pm at home. Come on out and support the boys on to victory!!! Gooo Lancers!
The Ursuline x-country team competed in the SWOSSAA meet yesterday, with some outstanding results. In the novice boys, Aric W., lead the team, followed by Ben C., Logan St., George G., and Brennan D. The boys had an outstanding season. In the Novice girls, Madeline Verbeek was 4th qualifying her for OFSSA. The first cross country OFSSA qualifier from our school in 8 years. Madeline was followed by Chelsea W., Alexa H., Zara B., and Isabella R., making them the best novice girls team the has had in a decade.sure In the senior girls division Ashlyn B., was 14th missing OFSSA by just 7 spots. She was followed by Kaitlyn J., Emma R., N’Tayea L., and Sarah B., In the senior boys division Christian S., lead the way, followed by Keegan H., and Austen C. All runners had their best performances to end their seasons. Congratulations to all competitors and good luck to Madeline V., who will compete in OFSSA in Ottawa.
