The Junior Volleyball Lady Lancers made their way to Brock University yesterday to compete in their 3rd tournament of the season. The girls ended up finishing 2nd out of 16 teams from the Greater Toronto Area. Zaveri B., had killer hits, blindsiding the opposing team countless times. A huge congratulations to Adyson T., and Rylee O., who were chosen by Brock’s Varsity Volleyball Team for their All Star team in the final match! Ms. Bos, Ms. Peats, and Mr. Biskey are so proud of all of your hard work and continued dedication. If you have nothing going on this coming Saturday, come cheer on our Junior team as we head to CK for another tournament! Way to go ladies!!!!!

The boys curling team won their second game of the year by beating a very tough Wallaceburg team 5-3 in a rematch from last year’s LKSSAA final. The girls curling team had their best game of the season but still came up against Wallaceburg. The teams will be in action again this Friday .

The Junior Girls volleyball tournament team travelled down Lacroix Street last night to compete in the McGregor Junior Girls tournament. Lead by the excellent serving of Daphne N., and Jersey G., the girls cruised into the semi-finals. Alyssa L.-H. and Natalie L., helped brush aside Chatham Christian as the girls moved to the finals. In a tough 3 set thriller, the excellent defense of Scarlett Cartier and Alexa Howe as well as the over-powering attacks by Logyn M., lead the girls to the victory and the tournament championship. Way to go ladies! Huge shout-out to Stella N., on her successful coaching debut!!
