Did you know the fashion industry is a huge polluter of chemicals and greenhouse gases? Thank you to the Lancers that are taking a stand and donating their gently used clothing. We'll be around today and tomorrow collecting summer items, like shirts, shorts, dresses, and skirts, for the clothing swap, as well as uniform items that no longer fit you to restock the Rebound Room. Everyone is invited to the clothing swap on Friday during both lunches in the Nucleus. Students that donate can attend one day early on Thursday!

The Senior Boys Soccer team competed at OFSAA in Kingston last week. On day 1, the boys beat Blessed Trinity from Grimsby 2-0. Rees E. got the boys on the board with a great finish from the penalty spot. Blessed Trinity was given their own penalty, only to be denied by Jake A. to keep the game 1-0. Xavier M. would finish off the game with a great strike after slick play by Ethan Q. In their second game of the day, the boys tied Chaminade College School from Toronto 1-1. Rees E. would again bury from the spot, and despite having several chances the game would end in a draw. After losing several players on day two, the Lancers stood strong and lost a close game to St. Ignatius from Thunder Bay 2-0. Ashton D. made several huge saves standing in at net. In their final game, the Lancers would lose to eventual Medalists St. John Henry Newman from Hamilton. Mr. Wright & Mr. Foster are proud of the team's efforts and accomplishments this season. A special shout out goes to graduating players, Rees E., Ethan Q., Lucas T., Jake A., Nathan V., Jayden B., Antonio F., Cristian S., Brock L., and Mateen S., —thank you for everything you've given to this team over the years. Gooo Lancers!
