Enjoy the show!

The UCC girls rugby team travelled up the 401 on Wednesday to Western University where they competed in their first tournament of the year. Both teams were dominant on the field, resulting in first place for our varsity team! The development team worked hard and learned so much throughout the day. Special shoutout to Audrey Gill and Avery Brown who were awarded the MVP of the day for each team by a Western Rugby player and former UCC player! We are so excited to see where this season is going to go! Well done girls!

Attention Lancers! Election season is upon us once again!

UCC will be participating in Student Vote Canada during period 1 on Friday, April 25th.

Students, each morning on the announcements, we will present a profile on one of the local candidates running in Chatham-Kent-Leamington. Keep an eye out around the school for candidate campaign signs and posters.

Teachers, we recommend taking the time to have your classes fill out CBC's online voting compass to help students make an informed decision. On election day, our student helpers will come around during period 1 to direct your classes to a polling station in the cafeteria.

Shoutout to Mr Whyte's and Mr Phaneuf's period 1 classes, and Mr Broadbent's period 4 class for volunteering to help organize this event.

UCC family - let's go to the polls together on Friday, April 25th!

Attention all ballplayers! If you are a girl interested in playing slo pitch this year, a QR code is posted on the Lancer Athletics bulletin board. Tryouts are slated to take place in the near future.

The Junior badminton team had a great day at the LKSSA south tournament last night. Three teams won in their divisions: Elliott C., in boys singles, Cam A., and Jackson L., in boys doubles and Dom R., and Alexa B., in mixed doubles. Dryden D., and Owen D., beat out a tough ESPC team to take home silver in boys doubles and Luca R., and Giselle D., secured third place in mixed doubles. Congratulations to the group that will advance to LKSSA next week. Keep up the great work! Go Lancers!
