One week from today, grade 10 students taking English this semester will be writing the OSSLT. Any senior students who are rewriting are excused from their regular classes on November 16th and are expected in room 106 at the beginning of period 1. Boys hockey will start tryouts starting next Wednesday at 2:30 at Memorial Arena. this season will include our annual alumni classic, a tournament at York University, all the while competing in another LKSAA league. Our Junior Girls Basketball Team earned a spot in the LKSAA Championship on Saturday after a triple overtime 42-41 win over Northern in our gym last night. Relentless defense throughout the game and an ability to make crucial rebounds in critical moments proved to be the deciding factor in securing a win. 14 pts by Daphne Northcott and 13 by Lexi-Hoskins-Lambkin and the teams resilience on both ends of the court allowed UCC to out work their opponents. contest. The junior and senior boys volleyball teams host CKSS in the LKSSAA finals tonight. Doors open at 4:30pm. Juniors play at 5pm, followed by the seniors at 7pm. It is $5 to get in. No backpacks will be allowed. Get there early to get a seat! Get ready to be loud and cheer on your Lancers!!
