Part of the Boys Hockey team got into the in column last night in Wallaceburg with a 4-2 win over the Tartans. Dacian V kept his goal streak alive early. Cohen K. added a beauty to make it 2-1 and get the boys out in front. They never looked back. Hudson W. drove the net to make it 3-1 and Aiden V. was the caboose on the goal train with the Lancers' 4th. Hometown boy "Cobra" Kai R. stood tall in goal to keep the Tartans at bay. Special stick tap goes out to Tyler L. and the rest of the undermanned Lancers for grinding through another blue collar performance. The boys close it out Wednesday at home against LK.
The senior girls volleyball team were back in action yesterday at the University of Toronto Schools tournament. The team finished first in pool play. After defeating the host school in the semi finals in an exciting match, the girls defeated North Toronto to win gold! Tournament MVP was Brooke R. for her fantastic setting and serving. The girls will host St. Pat's on Tuesday here at UCC for the LKSSAA semi final game. Stay turned for more details and times. Congratulations ladies!! What a way to end the tournament season!
