It is a free event sponsored by the Southwest Ontario Student Nutrition Program and it will be brought to you by UCC’s United Alliance and Kidwin clubs as well as the student and staff cooks in the Hospitality Classroom. So … if you have a favourite vegetarian rice dish recipe from your heritage that you would like to submit for consideration, please email or submit a copy by Friday March 1, to Ms. Palmer in the Guidance department. OR FIND THE POSTER IN THE MAIN HALLWAY AND USE THE QR CODE TO SUBMIT YOUR RECIPE.

If you are a graduating 4th or 5th year student who is a member of Blessed Sacrament or St. Agnes church, and you would like to apply for the CWL bursary, please pick up an application form from Mme Culverwell in room 209.

Cans, Paper, Plastic, That itchy sweater you got from that weird family member. All have one thing in common. They should be recycled and so should your batteries. Drop off your used batteries outside the greenhouse or room 909. Because unlike itchy sweaters, batteries can hurt the environment.

The Environmental Club is excited to announce our new initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness within our community: Battery Recycling! Did you know that improperly disposed of batteries can lead to hazardous waste leakage, soil contamination, and pose serious threats to our environment? By recycling batteries, we not only prevent these harmful outcomes but also contribute to conserving valuable resources. How Can You Participate?

Simply drop off your used batteries at Room 909 or deposit them in the designated box outside the greenhouse. Your small act can make a big difference! Let's work together to create a greener, cleaner future for our community and the planet. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to sustainability!
