The boys rugby team travelled to Sarnia on Wednesday and we brought more than just players. We brought determined, tuff but yet composed guys that wouldn't quit! The first half was not kind to us as we sustained a number of injuries and gave up a few tries against Great Lakes. By the second half, the boys figured out their defense to slow GLSS down. Our second game had the potential to get out of hand but our boys kept their wits about them and played a solid game. The team had some amazing tackles and proved that UCC is a team to be respected and feared on the field. An amazing run by Riley Crummer put us within scoring distance. Landyn B then powered his way through for our first try. We lost the game by one try. The guys play their next games at UCC at 3pm and 5pm on Tuesday May 9th, please come out back and cheer on your team. Way to go guys!

The Girls rugby team had a convincing win last night over the Great Lakes Wolf Pack 48-0. Izabella G, Soh Lee and Ella T led the team on offence in the first half with powerful runs and several trys. A shout out goes to Chloe H for her leadership, powerful runs and a try scored in the second half. And newcomer Audrey G for playing tremendous team offence. Nice job girls.
