The senior girls volleyball team headed to Fanshawe college on Friday for a two day tournament. The girls went 6-2 in pool play and won straight sets in the quarter and semi finals. The girls made it to the gold medal game, facing off against a very strong North Star team. Despite having only 8 players able to play due to injuries, the girls played some of their best volleyball of the season and won in two straight sets, winning the tournament championship. Meghan K, Rowan G and Kaidance M were named tournament MVPS and Megan "The Pitbull" B was team MVP for her powerful serves throughout the entire tournament. Congratulations ladies! Mr. Phaneuf and Mrs. Sanford could not be more proud of you!!!!
