A huge congratulations goes out to all LANCERS that participated in INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S WEEK at UCC. Last week the school was challenged to celebrate and recognize the women in our lives by posting positive messages in the cafeteria. The grade level tally's were close!
In third place was the gr9s; second place was the gr10s and finishing in first was the gr 11s, for a total of 829 uplifting messages to the women of UCC! If anyone else has a donation of feminine products you can leave them at the donation table in the main hall - the donations will be going to the Chatham-Kent Women's Shelter on Wednesday. Thank you to the members of United Alliance for making this happen!
ART CLUB will be cancelled tonight.
March may be over but the madness still continues as we're down to the Elite Eight astronomers. Head down to the mural in the Science department to cast your vote for the most influential astronomer of all time!
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Women’s League annually awards a $500 Bursary to a 4th year, Grade 12 graduating student, who is a member of Blessed Sacrament or St. Agnes Parish. If you would like to be considered for this award, please pick up an application form, from Guidance or from Mme Culverwell in room 209.
Yearbook club will meet today in room 808 at 2:30. Please attend as our final deadline is near!
This is the last week to try out for Boys Rugby. All boys grade 9-12 are welcome. Complete the Google form using the QR code found on the gym door or around the school. Watch for updates on the google classroom whether we are practicing inside or on the lower field tonight. See Mr. Parent in 306 if you have questions, send him an email if you can't make it but still want to be considered for the team.
Boys interested in trying out for senior boys soccer, please sign up using the QR code posted around the school. There will be indoor soccer sessions this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30-7pm in the gym. If you have any questions please speak to or email Mr Kalp or Mr Wright.
Ultimate practice begins this week Tuesday and Wednesday in the cafeteria. All players must attend one of the two practices each week. See if you can read it in the communications room if there are problems.
