The junior boys volleyball team headed to CKSS last night for their first league night of the season. The boys played solid offence and defence, going 7-1 on the night and moving straight up to first in the standings. The boys head to Essex high school this Saturday for their second tournament of the season. Great job boys!
The Lancer romped the CKSS Hawks yesterday afternoon at Fergie Jenkins Park 11-1. Stellar performances on the mound by Jack C, Luke C and Jackson K shut the Hawks down. Brendan S paced the offence with two singles and a triple to Centerfield, Tommy GUNN B added a couple of timely singles and Cohen K added his second triple in two games. Ethan T chipped in defensively with a diving catch in right field. Superb baserunning was evident by the entire team.
Wrestling season is around the corner. If you aren't already involved in a fall activity and want to start getting in shape now then see Mr. Parent in room 306 or check out the flyers in the main hallway. Conditioning practices begin next week.

Last Night at Northern Sarnia our Jr Girls Basketball team kicked off their season with a 35-19 win. The team opened the game with frenetic energy and quick defence, holding Northern to just 8 points in the first half. The girls kept up an intense pace all game with multiple players contributing including Daphne N and Alexis H-L each kicking in 11 points. Best of luck this weekend to the girls as they travel to the St Annes Tournament in Belle River.
The Senior Boys football team kicks off their season with a game against their cross town rivals the CK Golden Hawks. The Game starts at 4 pm at CK. There is a $2 cover charge at the gate. This will be a good one. Lets pack the stands with UCC fans. Hope to see you there.
